Reflective Journal-Week 3

WEEK 3
Date: 24th of July 2007 and 27th of July 2007

We spent more time in the computer lab exploring the Longman Language Activator. One of the words we were asked to look up was the word ‘marriage’ in the sense of its meaning, words related to it, what was monogamy and polygamy as well as other cultures in other societies.

The Activator had really good functions. It was colourful, it had pictures and we could also hear the correct pronunciation of the words by putting on the headphones which were provided with each computer.

I, for one, had a really good time looking up the meaning of words I have been dying to use for my future blogging.
